I offer a fully personalised and bespoke rhyming poetry writing service for a range of occasions. The tone of the poem can be as serious, heartfelt or humorous as you wish and will be individually crafted to suit your requirements.
What sort of occasions do you write for?
I write for weddings, hen parties, anniversaries, birthdays, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, funerals, retirements, corporate events or for any other time when you need to find a way to express how you feel in a unique and special way. Absolutely nothing is off limits, so do feel free to surprise me!
How does it work?
To make an order, simply select the service or services that you would like from the Rhymes For Times online shop. Upon receipt of full payment, I will e-mail a short questionnaire to you so you can supply me with details of anything you would like me to include in your poem or speech. The more detail you can provide, the better and more personal your poem or speech will be and the greater the impact it will have. It is your message and sentiments that need to be conveyed, so please tell me absolutely everything that you would like to say.
Can I discuss my requirements with you before making an order?

How long does it take?
I aim to complete all orders within 1-2 weeks from the date of receipt of the completed questionnaire, although this may be slightly extended in busy periods. I can be flexible, so do please contact me if you need your order completed within a shorter timeframe.
What questions will you ask for a bespoke poem or speech?
I will ask you to complete a short questionnaire to determine the type and tone of the poem or speech that you require and when you need it by and to obtain details of the intended recipient and any stories, anecdotes etc.
What length poem or speech will I need?
You may need a short poem or speech or something longer, so I offer a flexible number of verses from a single four line verse upwards.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes, of course. To ensure that you are completely happy with the process, I will e-mail the first draft of your poem or speech to you so that you have an opportunity to suggest any changes. I will work with you until you are 100% satisfied.
How much does it cost?
My pricing starts from £15 for a single four line verse and increases according to how many verses you require. Additional costs apply to my various ‘add-on’ services. Full details of my pricing may be found in the Rhymes For Times online shop.
How and when do I pay?
Full payment is due at the time of order of your personalised poem or speech and made via the Rhymes For Times online shop. No work will start without both payment and the completed questionnaire being received. I am sorry that no refunds will be made once work has commenced.
Where can I find samples and testimonials?
Simply select the “Example Poems” page of my website for samples of my work. For testimonials of my work, go to the Rhymes For Times online shop and view the specific product. Reviews of my book, “A Rhyming Explosion of Love and Emotion” may also be found by selecting the “My Poetry Book” page of my website.
What is a dedication?
This is a short message that I can create to appear at the foot of any poem in honour of the intended recipient, in similar fashion to a dedication found at the front of many books. This will not necessarily be in rhyming form.
What if I would like more or fewer verses than I’m allowed to buy?
The number of verses that you wish to buy is entirely your choice. If that number is not displayed in the Rhymes For Times online shop, simply contact me by telephone, e-mail at c.saffron@rhymesfortimes.com or via the enquiry form on my website to discuss your requirements and I will provide you with a quote.
I am worried about giving a speech. Can you help?
Absolutely! From Best Man speeches to after dinner speeches, I will work with your details, words and stories to craft a speech in rhyming form that you will feel proud to recite. You may have lots of ideas or not know where to start. Either way, I can help to create something which is truly memorable and will stay with your listeners for a long time to come.
The prospect of having to give a speech can be extremely nerve wracking. The ability to deliver effective and memorable speeches can often take years of practice, and if you don’t have much experience you are facing a momentous task – which becomes increasingly difficult the more you worry.
A good speech is a fine balance of content, structure, length and humour and needs to be delivered with confidence. It can be difficult to combine all of these elements effectively, so my special form of rhyming speech is guaranteed to meet your needs and to be a pleasure to listen to.
How are bespoke poems and speeches delivered?
All drafts and the final version of your poem or speech will be e-mailed to you in pdf format. You can also order a printed copy or a printed and framed version of your poem or speech, which makes a wonderful gift.

Yes. I offer a unique service where I can attend your event in person to recite your bespoke poem or speech and bring my words to life!
